Your adventure begins with one of São Jorge’s most celebrated hiking routes. The Nascente – Fajã da Caldeira de Santo Cristo – Fajã dos Cubres Trail takes you through lush endemic vegetation, descending into untouched valleys far from the usual tourist paths. Along the way, you will encounter hidden waterfalls, dramatic coastal scenery, and two of the island’s most famous fajãs, creating an unforgettable immersion into the natural heritage of São Jorge.
