Day-by-Day Itinerary

DAY 1

City tour Angra

Discover the UNESCO World Heritage city of Angra do Heroísmo through an interpretive route that explores its main historical, cultural, and scenic highlights.

The tour begins with an ascent to Monte Brasil and the Serra da Ribeirinha, offering a privileged viewpoint over the bay and the unique volcanic urban landscape of the city.

Returning to the historic centre, the itinerary continues through some of Angra’s most emblematic landmarks:
Alto da Memória, Angra do Heroísmo Botanical Garden, Corpo Santo, and Pátio da Alfândega, followed by the iconic Rua Direita leading to Praça Velha and the Town Hall (Paços do Concelho).

The route continues through Largo Dom António Prior do Crato, Rua da Esperança, and the impressive Sé Cathedral, before proceeding along Rua da Palha down to the Prainha area, ending in the charming Rua de São João.

This walking tour blends history, architecture, religion, and landscape, offering a complete and immersive experience of the identity of Angra do Heroísmo.

DAY 2

Van tour Island Highligts

A full day, yet always relaxed, where you’ll have the opportunity to discover the history of Terceira Island and the Azores in an engaging and enjoyable way.

Throughout the day, you’ll enjoy an interpretive tour across the island’s main highlights and landscapes, with the route adapted to weather conditions to ensure the best possible experience. The journey may include stops at Monte Brasil, Serra da Ribeirinha, and the scenic Serra do Cume, as well as the natural pools of Biscoitos.

Depending on the chosen route, you may explore the East Coast, passing through Serretinha, Porto Judeu, São Sebastião, Porto Martins, Praia da Vitória, and Agualva, or the West Coast, with visits to São Mateus, Santa Bárbara, Doze Ribeiras, Serreta, and Altares, always ending in Biscoitos.

There is also the option to include a visit to one of the island’s volcanic caves, adding an extra layer of discovery to this immersive Terceira experience.

DAY 3

e-bike - Monte Brasil

Come and meet Monte Brasil in the most fun way, and tour in off-road areas right in the middle of this volcano that it´s classified as a natural reservation!
With the E-Bike we go all the way to the top of Monte Brasil, until the viewpoint of Cruzinhas, full of nature and animal life inside, we also pass near by the Portuguese and historical military área.

DAY 4

Snorkling Ilheu das cabras

Discover the secrets of the south coast of Terceira Island. The trip we propose is intended to know the unique nature reserve of the island, the islets of Ilhéu das Cabras. There we take pleasure in knowing the whole special protection zone and also the opportunity to explore natural and beautiful caves that exist.
